Do you like to read? Have strong organizational skills? Our Library is seeking a part-time Book Club Associate with a strong commitment to providing superior library service to patrons at the Cook Park and Aspen Drive Libraries. 

Hours: 

• Part-time (20 hours per week), Monday through Friday 9am-1:30pm 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Process all holds for members of book clubs (800+ holds/month)  

• Secure copies of materials from other libraries through LINKin and Interlibrary Loan  

• Maintain and update book club database; create reports when needed 

• Create schedules for book clubs based on title availability  

• Update and print book club brochures  

• Work with Readers’ Services Supervisor to coordinate communications with book clubs 

Requirements: 

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail  

• Strong technology skills; previous database experience preferred  

• Customer service focused  

• Knowledge of current fiction  

• Familiarity with online library catalogs  

• Previous library experience preferred  

• High school diploma
